Little Rock

View of Little Rock – Must see town in Arkansas

My top pick would be Little Rock because it’s close to where I live. It offers everything from fine dining to shopping.

Pinnacle Mountain is an excellent place for adventure seekers who want to see beautiful scenery from the top of the mountain. There are also plenty of hiking paths around the mountain.

You’ll find lots of different types of restaurants, from Italian to Mexican to Greek.

Little Rock isn’t really dangerous at all; most people are pretty nice, and there is lots to see in town.

There’s a park right on the banks of the Arkansas River, a bridge to cross over into Arkansas, and even a cute riverside market.

Little Rock also has an aquarium where you can see lots of different kinds of fish. I really enjoy visiting it when I go there.

Petit Jean State Park

Petit Jean has an amazing waterfall where you can just relax and take in the scenery

Petit Jean is an amazing place next to a charming old town, just like one from the movies!

There are lots of rocks to climb over at Petit Jean, so you can get further away from the car park and into the woods and streams below.

You can also go hiking at other locations. If you go further down. Once you reach the parking lot, you will hear water flowing from somewhere nearby.

Go for a hike at Cedar Falls and enjoy the view of the waterfalls and the surrounding scenery.

Underneath the 95-foot waterfall there is a large body of water that has a sign saying “No Swimmers Allowed”, but in my opinion, it’s a good place for a swim.

It’s a great spot for taking time off and relaxing without having to worry about email or social media.

Eureka Springs

Eureka Springs is really colorful and filled with art of all kinds

If you’re looking for something unique, then this is the perfect destination for you.

I’ve been to a lot of cities and towns but have never seen a place as fun and quirky as this one.

This town looks like it’s full of artists from every corner of the globe. It is so unique and filled up with art of every kind!

The narrow, winding streets lined with shops and colorful homes bring out its beauty too.

It also has a haunted hotel on its peak if you’re looking for a thrill.

Hot Springs

Since living only an hour away from Hot Springs, I frequently travel there for fun.

Downtown Hot Springs is a lovely place to visit, with lots of small stores and restaurants that have been around for decades.

If you’re into horses, then go check out Oaklawn Racetrack in downtown Hot Springs!

If you want to see the beautiful scenery from above, you can go hiking up the mountain.

If you’re looking for a spot where you can take lots of beautiful photos, Hot Springs has walls covered with murals that are completely unique on almost every building.

Living in Arkansas has taught me to appreciate nature and adventure more so than technology.

As an Arkansan living in the heartland, I can take day trips to visit some of our beautiful mountain resorts or drive to small cities no one knows about if they don’t live here and I want others to know that there is so much more to Arkansas than just fields and little villages.

Ponca

When in Ponca, make sure to go rafting for a bit of a thrill ride

My absolute favorite place to visit is Ponca, Arkansas.

If you’re looking for somewhere to completely unplug and get away from it all, Ponca is the perfect spot for you.

With just under 100 people, Ponca has almost no phone service and is hidden away in the Ozarks.

You can go rafting at the Buffalo National River, which has some nice rapids for the thrill seekers out there.

Concluding our trip to the must-see places at Arkansas

In conclusion, Arkansas has a lot to offer visitors from around the globe. From beautiful parks and lakes to historic sites and museums, there’s plenty to explore here.

So whether you’re planning a road trip or flying in for a weekend getaway, make sure to pack your bags and hit the highway!

You won’t regret it.
