Veterans' Concert

Monday, November 6, 2017 - 6:30pm

The Van Buren County Community band along with the Clinton High School Band and Clinton High School and Junior High Choruses will be performing this Veterans Concert at 6:30 pm in the Clinton High School Auditorium. 

The Peacemakers Quilt Guild with will be giving out two Quilts of Honor to two pre-selected Veterans during the concert.  With the current recognition of being a Purple Heart County, we would also like to recognize our Purple Heart Veterans in attendance at the concert. 

Donations will be accepted at the door for the VBC Community Band.

Veterans’ Tribute and Potluck Dinner

Friday, November 10, 2017 - 5:00pm

We Love VBC is hosting this event at the Clinton School Cafeteria and will be followed by a lantern launch at the football field in honor of our fallen heroes.

Potluck admission is a meal in a disposable dish.

Bid on a special dinner with a celebrity or superhero, through November 3rd.

Join us as we welcome the Christmas Season with a Christmas Parade begining at Howard’s Antiques and ending at the pavilion at the city park just south of KHPQ.  Activities will include a light lunch and Christmas gifts for youth 12 and under.

Donation Drop-off points: Clinton Chamber of Commerce, VBC County Clerk's Office, or Ralph Tester Veterinary Clinic.

Festival of Trees @ the Bay (Dec 1st-15th)

The Christmas season in the Bay is a winter spectacular with their annual holiday celebration Festival of Trees event, Monday, December 1st — December 15th, 2017. Fairfield Bay’s Conference and Visitor Center is transformed into a wonderland of holiday elegance and whimsy to suit any age, family or individual.

“Fairfield Bay community organizations, businesses, and families have joined together to create this holiday festival,” said Heather Dunn, Fairfield Bay Chamber of Commerce Director. “We’ve got all the twinkling lights, sounds and smells of this blessed season that you could need to get in the spirit and ready for some truly happy holidays.”

Trees, Trees, and More Trees
Explore this special forest of trees and leave inspired and ready for the season. Each Christmas tree is decorated from its starry tip top to its blanketed base. No two are alike and range from whimsical to traditional, from kid to pet-friendly! Vote for your favorite. And while you’re there, look for the donation box to help local families in need with your food bank donation.

To enter a tree is free!  The trees may stay up thru out the whole month of December on into the New Year. Great way to advertise your business or just simply show your Christmas spirit!

Light up the Bay

Fairfield Bay “Light up the Bay” is December 1st, from 5:30 to 9:30 at the Conference Center.

There will be live music, food, your favorite holiday drinks, silent auction, the lighting of the Christmas trees, and the BIG TRIP GIVEAWAY!!! The ticket booth will be set up for you to enter to WIN!

$8.00 dinner with a portion of the funds raised will go to help the needy in our area.
